The 2015 Walt Disney World Marathon is quickly approaching. Each year, the Disney Marathon is one of the best events to either participate in as a runner, or show your support to those that endure the 26.2 or 13.1 mile challenge.
Full Marathon
Experience all four Disney theme parks in a unique and magical way, by running through them during with thousands of other people. This 26.2 mile run will include Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. In addition to these theme parks, participants will also run by ESPN Wide World of Sports and Walt Disney World Speedway. Will running by these attractions Disney characters and entertainment will be on the course. After the race, enjoy a cool down party at Downtown Disney.
If you are a runner, this marathon should be on your A list. The race on Sunday, January 11, 2015 will begin at 5:30 a.m. and will start and finish at Epcot.
Half Marathon
A 13.1 mile race through two Disney theme parks – Magic Kingdom & Epcot. The race on Saturday, January 10, 2015 will begin at 5:30 a.m. and will start and finish at Epcot. The finish line will be at the Spaceship Earth attraction. If you are not ready for the full marathon, this is a great way to start your running career.
